Introducing the 2026 Slow Blinks Wall Calendar: Cozy Cat Photography With a Purpose
Every year, as the holidays get closer, I love reflecting on the beautiful moments I’ve shared with the cats I care for. This year, I wanted to create something that captured those moments — and also gave back to a very special cat in my life. That’s how the 2026 Slow Blinks Cat Sitting Wall Calendar was born.
This 12-month calendar features some of my favorite cozy client photos from the past year, each paired with a thoughtful quote that matches the mood of the moment. Creating it has been a labor of love: a blend of my lifelong photography passion and the everyday joy I find in caring for your cats.
But behind this project is a story that’s especially close to my heart.
Chance’s Journey: From Colony Cat to Beloved Companion
About a year and a half ago, I met a cat who would completely change my world. His name is Chance, and when he first came to me, he was a thin, flea-infested former colony cat who had never lived indoors. He had bald patches from overgrooming and a look in his eyes that told me he had survived far more than he should have ever needed to.
Today, Chance is a full-time lap cat who follows me from room to room and loves nothing more than curling up next to me during editing sessions. He’s a reminder that every cat — no matter their past — deserves safety, comfort, and a life where they are truly loved.
Living With a Rare Condition
Chance also lives with a lifelong condition called central diabetes insipidus (or AVP- Arginine Vasopressin Deficiency). His body can’t produce the hormone needed to process urine properly, which means without treatment, toxins would quickly build up.
Thanks to medication, Chance can live a healthy and happy life — but the prescription he needs every day is expensive and ongoing.
That’s why the 2026 calendar means so much to me.
